Worship and Celebration
1. Vegetarian Potlucks two times in 12 months.
2. Green Sanctuary worship services four times during the year.
Religious Education
3. Start a Green Sanctuary library: 2 books or DVDs donated to the library from a list of environmental topics.
4. Forum Film series: Story of Stuff, An inconvenient Truth, and Buying Food Locally Videos.
5. Clean Lief Erickson Park in the Spring and Fall.
6. Organize a “Going Green” educational group in the congregation to share experiences, tips, and education about earth friendly choices.
Earth Justice
7. Choose earth friendly products maintain building and grounds.
8. During the next year participate with the Farmers Market and local groups to establish a regional group to encourage local uses for locally grown foods.
Sustainable Living
9. Replace an existing furnace with one that is 92% efficient or greater.
10. Xeriscape a 10’ x 20’ section of Church lawn.
11. Local Farmers Market will supply the food for next years canvas dinner.
12. Church purchases a Farmer’s Market membership for 2008 - 2009.
